Operations Necessary to Complete the MG-42 SA Receiver:

1) Cut bottom profile for the Semi Auto Blocker Bar (Drawing Supplied). Tools needed: .5 endmill & .375 endmill. Weld the semi auto Blocker Bar into the rear of this slot as shown on drawing.

2) Install Buffer Tabs: Align the top and bottom tabs with the cutouts in the receiver, then rivet or weld them in place. You may have to trim them to get a tight fit.

3) Install Buffer Latch Stud: Set and weld the buffer latch stud in the hole provided under the bottom buffer tab

4) Rivet or weld the trigger housing mount bracket/rear tripod mount to the receiver.

5) Fit trigger housing to receiver

6) Make the cutouts for the charging handle in the receiver (Drawing Supplied)

7) Install the Ratchet Plate by welding it to the side of the receiver making sure that the 'bumps' are aligned with the corresponding
pattern in the receiver. Once attached, use the proper T-slot cutter to cut the charging handle track (Drawing Supplied).

8) Fit and install the trunion at center of the buffer and front receiver bushing. The trunion must fit tight to the receiver, so be sure not to remove too much material from top and bottom of the receiver when fitting the trunion. You should initially install the trunion using the trunion screw provided to verify fit and function before riveting it to the receiver.

9) Rivet or Weld Rails to the Receiver: This is the most critical operation. The rails must be parallel, properly spaced, and in perfect alignment w/ the trunion. Make sure that the left rail location does not interfere with the recuperator. You should initially install the rails with Cleko rivets or other fasteners to verify fit and function before riveting them in place.

10) Install the 'U' shaped barrel stop bracket and front tripod mount using the holes in the receiver and rivets provided. The bottom rivet on this parts also holds the front tripod mount.

11) Install the Barrel Door Assembly: You must first weld-in the upper and lower barrel door support brackets making sure that the hinge holes in the brackets are aligned with the hinge holes in the receiver. Use the squeeze rivets provided to attach the barrel door.

12) Install recuperator assembly to fit into the Semi Auto Blocker Bar and rear of the trigger housing mount brkt. You will need to drill a hole through the receiver for the rear recuperator screw

13) Install front & rear sight assemblies

Why Our Trigger Pull Is So Light - And Our Guns So FAST

We start with original MG-42 Trigger Housings and modify them to accept a conventional hammer/disconnector setup.  By using this setup we achieve a short and light trigger pull similar to an AR.  This results in exceptionally fast semi auto performance. Combine this with the mechanical advantage of the MG3 ground tripod setup, and our MG-42 SA is among the fastest semi-autos in existence.
