When the MG42 first appeared there were some distinctive features that were modified by the end of the war, namely:
1) MG34 style legs on the bipod
2) Flat charging handle
3) 5-Fin flash hider.
These early-pattern flash hiders are exceptionally rare to find so we made these faithful reproductions that are compatible will all MG42, M53, and MG3 receiver bushings. They can use any standard MG42 or M53 booster cone as well.
