Marlin 1917 Potato Digger Reactivated by Charlie Erb
The gun is here on consignment. The previous owner purchased this gun directly from Erb in 1991 and says he only fired it once.
Condition Notes:
- Overall very nice condition gun. We've had this gun apart for cleaning and the internals look to not have much use at all. The barrel unscrews for disassembly easy... This is very good as we've seen some of these with stuck barrels that can get tricky to remove.
- The secondary securing screws on the main housing screws are all missing (will not impact function)
- The safety detent is missing. It doesn't catch in the safe position but functions if pushed forward.
- The elevation knob on tripod is bent but functions fine.
- The shutter door does not lock forward.
- The belts an ammo can included are for a 1919
