- Barrel Shaft: As part of the Yugo rearsenal the shaft marking have been scrubbed.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR HEADSPACE:
For 8mm Mauser, we inspect each barrel with standard "GO" and "NO-GO" 8mm Mauser gauges. However, it's good practice with any MG42 to verify headspace with the specific bolt, barrel, and type of ammo you are using. Headspace that is too short can result in very dangerous out-of-battery detonations.
