This is a reproduction of the retaining pin for the top cover hinge pin. It is countersunk on both end, just as the original, for peening.
Although designed for the MG34, it also fits an AK-47 nicely.
The "Good" grade cover has good - excellent canvas (minor stains), leather, and may have minor rust on buckles.

This length does NOT work on the AK-47. However, the long length works very well on the AK-47.
